Well done for completing this SLJ activity, 'The Black Drain' and for providing us with two rivers in New Zealand that are currently polluted. I really like how you've utilised Google Slides for this activity, good thinking! That's really terrible to read (especially considering they are so close to where I am from!)— when I was your age, I used to swim in local rivers around Gisborne. We would spend HOURS playing in the rivers, sliding down the banks, making rope swings and kayaking. That's no longer possible due to pollution, which I find really sad. What do you think we could do to help clean the rivers up?
