I would not want to go on a waka Ama race because it looks scary and it also sounds scary and I do not like sea water that much and I also don’t like boat’s and the waka ama race is related to boat’s a little bit.

ReplyDeleteI see now that you've just completed even more activities, ka pai e hoa! I'm curious and want to understand why you think Waka Ama sounds and looks scary. Is it because they've got big arms? The heaving noises they make as they paddle?
I understand how being in a boat can be a bit freaky; I did notice that you spoke about that in the letter that you wrote about travelling by boat.
We all have our fears! I'm a terrible swimmer (you've heard this already), but I really want to change this so I've decided that as a part of my exercise routine, I'm going to swim laps at the pools so that I can get better at swimming. I'm hoping it'll change the way that I think about swimming.

When I was younger it tasted gross when you put your head under water and if it gets into your eyes, it stings! Yuck! I prefer to just sit on the nice beach sand and watch the waves.
What is your favourite thing to do when you go to the beach?
