However, I'm really intrigued by what you mean by colours. Do you mean that you'd like to take them paints? I think that that is a really great idea! What an awesome way to spice up someone's life by adding colour.
If I were taking gifts, I'd probably take some sporting equipment so that we could all play together.
Maybe you could try adding a photo to this post? It could be a picture of one of the things that you've listed :)
