SML DAY 5: Blink and You’ll Miss It Activity 1: Towering Timbers

I think logging should not be allowed...
If you start logging we get less oxygen to breath
The poor animals will have to find new homes
The birds are gonna have to carry their little chicks and eggs
Also the animals which are deep into the woods and are really rare and going to be spot en and uncommon

We had to write if they loggers should be logging or not and you have to give at least 2 statements

  1. Hey Mehakpreet,

Congratulations for completing yet another SLJ activity. Thanks for telling us whether you think that logging should be allowed in New Zealand— to be honest I'm glad to hear that you don't think it should be allowed. You're absolutely right, trees and plants filter bad stuff like carbon dioxide from the air and then release oxygen back out. Forests are full of so much wildlife and we need to conserve their natural habitats— especially those that are endangered and as you say, rare. Can you give me an example of an endangered species that lives in the forest?

I look forward to your response, Mehakpreet.

    Cheers

    Jordan
