SLJ Activity 3: Restricted Access

I think it is not fair to the tourists who want to see Machu picchu because they probably wanted to see it for a very long time or it was their dream and that dream is no longer a dream because the tourists can't go so that dream is gonna stay a broken dream.  Imagine if we could not move out of the country we were born in that would not be fair so it is not fare for the tourists either.

I had to write if it is fair that the tourists can't go to visit Machu picchu

  1. Kia Ora Mehakpreet,

Well done for completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Restricted Access' and for telling us whether or not you think that it is fair that the local government are considering restricting the amount of visitors to Machu Picchu.
I really respect that you've provided good reason for your opinion here—this is what we call self-reflection.
This is my self-reflection: I personally think that it is fair, because it is what we call conservation. I can appreciate that people would dream about seeing Machu Picchu, but also, if there were so many people constantly visiting this beautiful site then it would heavily effect the natural environment and could potentially ruin this site for future generations to experience.
Would you like to visit there one day?

I look forward to your response :)

    Cheers,

    Jordan
