SLJ Spending the whole day at my cousins house

So on 29th of December we went to my cousins house for nearly the whole about the Morning to afternoon.

SLJ The Christmas party

I wrote about a Christmas part I had on 28th December 2018 it was super fun but really Exiting and we came back at 1.00 in the morning and went at about 5 to 6 a clock

My reaction to Ice skating (When it was my first time)

When it was my first time going Ice Skating I went

with my Nanny,Mum,Dad and brother.  So when we put

on are Ice Skating shoes I was really scared so when

went in I held onto the handle but my Mum was

really scared to get in so her Mum which is my Nanny told her to get in just to give her a little support.  Then later on when

we got a little use to Ice Skating

I was not holding onto the side but I was

holding onto a stand. So later on I tried to

do it without the stand and I did it but I was really slow so

I tried to keep to the side so I won't fall.  It was so much fun

and now I wonder when I will go again but my Dad does not want to go because he keeps falling and he gets annoyed.

SLJ Incredible beast

I drew another Fantastic beast but it is not fantastic it is strong but let's call it incredible because Max Dental does not like being called fantastic and don't call him that because he will kill you well no he won't he will call the Police.

SLJ How Christmas went

This is about Christmas one 25th December 2018 and it was fun really fun I enjoyed it and the weird thing is I still have the donuts from Christmas eve.  This took ages to make because I wrote a lot so it took about half an hour.

SLJ Sign Language

I showed you the alphabet in sign language it was really hard to take the picture because I had to take them my self you must be wonder do you have four arms and hands well the answer is no I used my legs to take the photo so it took about 20 minutes

SLJ Christmas

I wrote about Christmas because some people celebrate Christmas and they don't know what Christmas means.  I know what Christmas means but I did not know the full meaning all I knew was that they are celebrating Jesus birthday.  So I learnt what the full meaning is.

SLJ My favorite chocolate

I wrote about my favorite chocolate because I really like chocolate but I only get it once a week or noun if I get 1 from school it is okay.  My parents don't want me eating sugar like chocolate or lollies so when I get older I won't have to eat medication for sugar.

Yesterday on 22 December I went to a marriage I forgot who's is it but I thought I could share what I did and what did I do after also before when I was getting ready

1. I learnt how to add and time with weights a kilo

2. I learnt more about the Maui dolphin because a female Maui dolphin is slightly older and it weights slightly more

3. Something that upset me was that people are littering too much and that upset me

4. We are probably going to stop using plastic bottle or utensils and use metal,silver or somthing

This was the last activity of summer learning journey and I was so happy to so this

SLJ Activity 2: Adoption Day

3 animals:
This is a Przewalski’s horse and it they are the only true wild horses on earth and is endangered but survives thanks to massive conversation efforts they are the people talk about endangered animals or stuff like that and are saving the Przewalski’s horse

Siberian Tiger is the smallest Tiger which is in endangered and people have estimated that there is about under 20 Siberian tigers and is endangered because of intensive logging. Intensive- (means: Saying it was an accident but it was on purpose )

Timber wolf is endangered because of it's population and it is really common and wolfs normally don't attack humans and humans do attach wolfs

SLJ DAY 5: The Sky’s the Limit! Activity 1: Environment Day - Beat Plastic Pollution

The three things I will do to save the planet on world environment day is...

1. Stop using plastic like bottles,spoons,plates and we can use steel or metal wood anything but plastic you can use anything well not anything but lots of stuff but metal

2. Pick up any plastic you have or any rubbish outside or inside your house and throw it in the bin or reuse it

3. If you are using plastic for art keep the plastic and don't loose it  or throw it in the bin

 I wrote three ways to save the rubbish from going outside and into a garbage patch

SLJ Activity 3: Restricted Access

I think it is not fair to the tourists who want to see Machu picchu because they probably wanted to see it for a very long time or it was their dream and that dream is no longer a dream because the tourists can't go so that dream is gonna stay a broken dream.  Imagine if we could not move out of the country we were born in that would not be fair so it is not fare for the tourists either.

I had to write if it is fair that the tourists can't go to visit Machu picchu 

SLJ Activity 2: The Plastic Pledge

I think it is good that countdown has stopped using plastic bags because they are helping the great pacific garbage patch to not litter.  They are making a good choice so people can reuse there countdown bag.

I drew a mcdonalds logo it is not the exact but I am supporting mcdonalds

I am supporting Mc Donald's because I ate it sinse I was about 4-5 years old maybe even 3 but they are helping the environment by cleaning up.

I think the activity witch interests me a lot is Zero Invasive Predator (ZIP) because they tell us where they use to do then they moved what they do now and how do they help the animals so they are no predators.

I think the one witch interests me is Lansan trees in the Caribbean because it reminds me of the Kahikatea hub or the Kahikatea tree also the kauri tree

SLJ DAY 2: Protecting Our Own Activity 1: A Flying Fox

If I got a chance to go to the Rotorua Zip line I would feel...

I would feel extremely exited at first and scream and scream and I dodge those long tree trunks coming in my way.  I will go upside down to see the beautiful nature.  Then at the middle of the time 1 hour and 30 minutes I will get less excitement but more exited to see what comes next.  Then after the three hours are up I will be there standing with a big smile on my face.

That is my feelings for going on the Rotorua Zip line I have never been but it sounds really exiting

SLJ Activity 3: The Sky in Shanghai

My feeling would be in China or Beiijng
I would be terrified teeth chattering and wind blowing
I would be trying to get the nice air and trying to be fair with other people
I would be Grateful for what I got because it might keep me alive
I would stay indoors to be safe around the bad air

SLJ Activity 2: Guardians of the Sea

I think the Taniwha is fake because the water coming from the river it could be fish or any else creature under the sea.  Then all the story's sound fake to me as well but I feel this way because I don't think anyone has seen it before because if people even swim in that river the Tanware will eat it but it is not so that is why I the Taniwha is fake

SLJ Activity 3: Let It Rain

If New Zealand hit a big Acid rain storm and I open the door this will be my reaction

Suddenly I opened the door after a Acid rain storm and my mouth fell open then it shut.  I got eyes full of water when I looked at my plants and flowers they were all disgusting and dead.  Then me and my dad when to see there lettuce work it was fine but next doors animals were not fine I got a tear dripping down my eyes then my cheek.  Then we looked at the lettuce we grew outdoors it was all dead.  Then we went into are cosines back yard and sadly all the plants were dead all the hard work was dead.  Then we went back home but I just looked in the window and just watched my mum and dad growing the new flowers and pulling out the old ones.  Well I went outside and I just remembered about the playground bushes so I scooter all the way there and the bushes were deep deep brown and dead the grass was disgusting so I went home and went to sleep rather then crying all day.

On a rainy day I like to...
1. Watch YouTube on my tablet or Chromebook 
2. Painting,coloring,sketching or drawing a picture 
3. Listening to songs while practicing to be flexible (I do not go to gymnastics)

5. Studying (Math,reading and writing)

SLJ DAY 5: Here to Stay Activity 1: Persistent Pollution

1.Some of the gas pollution comes from volcano eruptions smoking and that kind of stuff
2. Green house gasses which makes by Increase smog, rise in mold, more polletion

SLJ Activity 3: Crazy, Cool Clouds

I think this cloud looks like a mustache because it has like a shape when people put up there mustache.  It also the end bit looks like a rectangle and the on the top it looks like two semi circles same as the bottom and together they look like circles











I had to write about this weird looking cloud about its shape and stuff

SLJ Activity 2: The Seven Sisters

This book was about the seven sisters and the eight brothers.  The 8 brothers once saw 7 stunning ladies so the 7 brothers went to them but a 8th brother youngest brothers stopped them but they did not listen. So they went to her and later by staying together for a long time the seven sisters treated them like maids for a long long time.  But the youngest brother and the wisest heard what the sisters were gonna do to them so he warned his brothers about how strong and brave they use to be now they are just like maids.  But they did not listen. (Next day) There wife's were all caught with in a net each while flying in the air attached to a bird then they became the 7 Matariki stars up in the sky shining like diamonds.

We had to write about The book 7 Matariki stars I thought this was easy but it turned out medium because it was a little hard to reflect or just write about the book.  It took me a few minutes about 10-15 minutes.
