I'm so glad that you've chosen to be involved in the Summer Learning Journey!
It sounds as though you're a real McDonald's fan. When my daughter, Rachel Williams, was a little girl her grandparents would come to see us every week and take us to lunch at the local McDonald's. Rachel loved their hamburgers and hamburgers are still one of her favourite foods, even though she's a mom herself now.
When my parents were little there were no fast-food restaurants and so they ate all of their meals at home. They had long lunch hours on school days so that they could walk home for lunch and get back to school in time for afternoon classes. It's so different for students now, isn't it? I imagine that you eat your lunch at school each day, and that you go out for dinner fairly often.

I love McDonalds but only on a special occasion. Your post reminded me of when I was little, my grandmother would take me to McDonald’s and we would buy 2 Happy Meals. We would then walk down to the park with some bread and feed the ducks at the pond whilst we ate our burger and fries! SO GOOD!
Maybe you could add a recipe of something else you like to make if you do any cooking or baking at home? I like to make burgers at home as a treat, my favourite part is cooking the patties on the BBQ and when it’s cooked through I carefully lay a slice of cheese on top and watch it melt! Yum!
